Brighton is a seaside resort and one of the two main areas of the city of Brighton and Hove in the county of East Sussex, England. It is located 47 miles south of London. Archaeological evidence of settlement in the area dates back to the Bronze Age, Roman and Anglo-Saxon periods.
Oxford, a city in central southern England, revolves around its prestigious university, established in the 12th century. The architecture of its 38 colleges in the city’s medieval center led poet Matthew Arnold to nickname it the 'City of Dreaming Spires'. University College and Magdalen College are off the High Street, which runs from Carfax Tower (with city views) to the Botanic Garden on the River Cherwell.
The Cairngorms are a mountain range in the eastern Highlands of Scotland closely associated with the mountain Cairn Gorm. The Cairngorms became part of Scotland's second national park on 1 September 2003. This was a very special trip as it was Paul and my first holiday together.

Scotland has it all! I fell in love with this magnificent country on my first visit to ski at Glenshee in 1993. Beginners / Novices Beginners and novices can gently get to grips with skiing and snowboarding on the extensive nursery slopes next to the main car park. After a few lessons, it won't be long before you can master the lifts at road level, which opens up a much larger area of runs for novices, serviced by eleven lifts. Intermediates Glenshee is ideal for intermediate skiers & boarders, with 26 blue and red runs, varying from the long and exhilarating to the short and steep. From the wide open area of the Thunderbowl and popular sheltered expanses over the back at Coire Fionn and Glas Maol to the bumps, jumps and natural half-pipe of Meall Odhar to the testing Slalom Race Track at Cairnwell - the choice is yours.... Advanced Experienced skiers can test their skills on two excellent black runs at Glenshee including the infamous, mogul strewn Tiger which has been a formidable part of the Scottish ski experience for years. When conditions allow there is some great Freeriding to be had with Carn Aosda and Meall Odhar offering some steep and varied terrain. Venue for the 1985 Smirnoff British Speed Skiing Championships, Glenshee's other black, on the left hand face of Glas Maol, is still as exhilarating today as it was then. With this much choice, it is easy to see why Glenshee is the UK' s premier ski centre.

From its rugged coastline studded with gold sand beaches and secret coves, to rolling countryside dotted with patchwork fields and crops of ancient woodland, to vertiginous peaks set above glistening meres and heather-clad moors, via kitschy seaside resorts, pretty-as-a-postcard villages and handsome market towns ... there is something for everyone. It is also the perfect base if you are a travel addict with the strong GBP currency and centralised location with easy access to everywhere in the world. The weather is actually part of its appeal: Spring is full of new life, with daffodils blooming and Easter egg hunts. In summer it’s all about eating ice cream at the beach and picnics in the countryside. Autumn dazzles when the trees turn bright red and orange, and winter brings snow, sledging and cosy nights in front of a roaring fire. What is not to love?!
London...Ever since doing a project on Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament in the 1970s it was a dream to visit .... fast forward to 20 April 1992 and a working holiday of 6months ... never left - still living in the UK now and pinch myself every time I pass these iconic buildings! London is vibrant and busy and everyone is in a rush! It is a melting pot of so many cultures and nationalities and there is just so much history and so much to do - never a dull moment. So come on over to enjoy the double decker buses, red phone booths, world class museums and galleries and cosmopolitan vibe!
