Mathekenyane Koppie is a huge granite dome 10 kms from Skukuza on the H1-1 that used to be known as Granokop. It is one of a series of hills that goes from Bushbuckridge eastwards to Skukuza.

This huge rock outlook on the road between Skukuza and Pretoriuskop is worth a visit. You can drive right to the top of this rock. You are allowed out of your car at the top to take a walk around.
Take a picnic basket (or simply coffee and rusk), your binoculars and enjoy this wonderful view of the Kruger Park from the top of this rock...you can see for miles and miles on a clear day.
