Snowdonia is a region in northwest Wales concentrated around the mountains and glacial landforms of massive Snowdonia National Park. The park's historic Snowdon Mountain Railway climbs to the summit of Wales's highest mountain, Mount Snowdon, offering views across the sea to Ireland. The park is also home to an extensive network of trails, over 100 lakes and craggy peaks like Cader Idris and Tryfan.

Ski Arlberg , which comprises the villages of St. Anton am Arlberg, St. Christoph, Stuben, Lech, Zürs, Warth and Schröcken, consists of more than 300 km of marked slopes and 200 km of off-piste trails. The 87 state-of-the-art cable cars and lifts offer the highest standards of safety, comfort, and efficiency. The region is also a founding member of ‘Best of the Alps’, the quality association of the 13 most renowned alpine destinations.
