Another cosy and splendid visit where we ate and drank far too much in the comfort of the large fireplace – bliss. The Harrisons joined us and Geoff kindly put on a raptor display for us! We also did a wildlife safari to try and spot deer…rounded off with a lovely lunch in a country pub by the fire. Bliss.
We stopped at the beach on our way. Thandi was just a puppy and provided companionship to Zulu who had lost his brother Shaka. Her first trip to the sea!
Geoff and Bev truly live farm to mouth on their fabulous Knighton Farm in Exmoor, inhabited by Exmoor Ponies wo greet you on arrival. Bev also shears the llamas and makes jumpers from their wool which she sells at local markets. It is lovely for walking and chilling. The goats are for milking and meat. The pigs and cows have wonderful free range lives before going to slaughter and taste delicious.
