🙁 DO NOT UNDERTAKE THIS ACTIVITY _ ALL LIONS ARE DESTINED FOR THE CANNED HUNTING INDUSTRY
We had booked this at Victoria Falls. On arrival and along with a coffee were given a talk on the ‘conservation ‘ efforts which our money was funding as lions were endangered. We were also given a safety briefing. Caitlyn walked with cubs as the larger lions definitely eyed her up as prey.
The chameleons were pretty cool too!
We then had the opportunity to walk with the larger habituated lioness.
At the time this was one of the most wonderful experiences that we could ever have wished for and we really did value every moment spent with them. At least we know better now.
