UK: Wales – Camping Gower Peninsula 2008

Gower or the Gower Peninsula in southwest Wales, projects towards the Bristol Channel. It is the most westerly part of the historic county of Glamorgan. In 1956, the majority of Gower became the first area in the United Kingdom to be designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

🙂 Easter Camping.

🙁 High winds which crumpled Pete’s tent!

It was our annual camping trip – this time on the Gower Peninsula! It was so wonderful to have the gang back together. We enjoyed long beach walks, cooking and braaing and campfire chats. Three Cliffs Bay is the BEST campsite with stunning views and they allow dogs and firepits…. the two most important factors!

We had to keep Poppie and Shaka and Zulu separate!

Fun on the Pier and into town for icecreams.

Beautiful coastal walking…
