Bandhavgarh National Park is in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. This biodiverse park is known for its large population of royal Bengal tigers, especially in the central Tala zone. Other animals include white tigers, leopards and deer. The mix of tropical forest, Sal trees and grassland is home to scores of bird species, including eagles. To the south are the remains of the ancient Bandhavgarh Fort.

Ihaha Campsite is located about 35 kilometres west of Kasane on the Chobe riverfront.... a spectacular location ... elephants rumbling past in droves to enjoy the Chobe River... This relatively modern camp provides ablution blocks with toilets and showers. Water is heated by solar energy. Highly recommended!
The Linyanti Marsh, located at the northwest corner of the park and to the north of Savuti, is adjacent to Linyanti River. To the west of this area lies Selinda Reserve and on the northern bank of Kwando River is Namibia's Mamili National Park. The area around the two rivers consists of riverine woodlands, open woodlands as well as lagoons, and the rest of the region mainly consists of flood plains. Here there are large concentrations of lions, leopards, wild dogs, roan antelopes, sable antelopes, hippopotamuses and above all enormous herds of elephants. The rare red lechwe, sitatunga and crocodile also occur in the area as well as the rich birdlife. The camp site overlooks the river and the Caprivi Strip in Namibia on the opposite bank.
The Savuti is a region within the heart of the Chobe National Park that is secretly located away from the peak season crowds at the Chobe riverfront. It is the remote homeground of Camp Savuti, positioned on the banks of the dry Savuti Channel and close to the famous Savuti Marsh. The Savuti lions switched to preying on elephants during the late dry season (August-November) between 1985–2005. A pride of 30 lions killed one elephant every three days! It is still wild but the ablutions are now like a prison preventing the elephants from using their trunks to drink from the showers while you are under it as they did in recent times!
Magotho Campsite is located 20 kilometres east of the Khwai Village. The campsite is situated along the main Moremi – Savuti Road. The campsite derives its name from the Setswana of Camel-thorn, these threes provide shade to the campsites. The campsite is basic and true self drive 4×4 Africa adventure. However, it has recently undergone refurbishment and there are now clean ablution blocks and extended spacious camp sites with braai areas. Just wild camping between the trees and the roaming wildlife. We recommend to bring sufficient water and food. Magotho Campsite is a great campsite to experience wildlife. It is great hearing the sounds of the animals in the night and it is not unusual to see some animals on the campsite. An amazing experience!
Moremi Game Reserve is in northern Botswana, in the Okavango Delta, which becomes a lush animal habitat during seasonal floods. Dugout canoes are used to navigate past birdlife, hippos and crocodiles on waterways like the Xakanaxa Lagoon. On land, wildlife includes lions, leopards and rhinos. Safari camps are common, with several dotted around large Chief's Island and the forested Mopane Tongue Peninsula.At the third bridge from the southern entrance to the Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana, you can find a campsite with the fitting name Third Bridge Campsite. The facilities at this campsite are well-maintained and the sanitary facilities were renewed a few years ago. The camping pitches are very spacious here, which means you can enjoy the surroundings in complete peace and privacy. At this campsite, you are truly amongst the wildlife. There are no fences, which means wild animals can walk right by your tent. During the day, there are baboons to look out for. In the evening, there is a good chance of seeing hyenas in the camp. Other animals such as elephants and hippos are also regularly seen at the campsite. A small store at Third Bridge offers wood for the campfire and can provide a few basic needs. There is no power or Wi-Fi at Third Bridge Campsite.
Maun is a town on the Thamalakane River in northern Botswana. It's the jumping-off point for the vast inland Okavango Delta, which becomes a lush wildlife habitat during the seasonal floods. In the delta, safari camps dot the Moremi Game Reserve, which is home to hippos, lions and rhinos. Island Safari Lodge is located on the banks of the River, and is a cool and welcoming oasis in the heart of Maun. Nxai Pan National Park is a national park in north-eastern Botswana, consisting of Nxai Pan, which is one of the Makgadikgadi Pan salt flats and adjoins Makgadikgadi Pans National Park on its northern border. The biggest draw to Nxai Pan National Park are the zebras that migrate by the thousands to the area – the second largest land animal migration in Southern Africa. Baines Baobab is an extraordinary place with large Baobab trees sitting on the edge of an extensive salt which was painted by explorer Thomas Baines in 1862 and still looks almost exactly the same, even down to the fallen tree! ... simply spectacular.
