🙂 Amazing! Great diving. Relaxation. Sun, Sea, Fun!

🙁 Did the Deep Blue dive, but no hammerheads. Coral bleaching due to El Ninio.

After an exhausting Charter flight we finally arrived in Male, Maldives. The children are usually so well behave on flights – but this has been the one exception – Caitlyn and Charlotte screamed and kicked the whole way – probably due to the limited space and highly uncomfortable chairs! We transferred to our sea plane and on to paradise: Kuramathi Village.

We enjoyed on week here. Hanna, our lovely Czech au pair joined us as she looked after the children every morning when we went to do two dives first thing. The diving was good but not great as there had been an El Ninio and the coral had suffered bleaching. WE also enjoyed a night dive – where we tumbled onto the beach at the end in front of everyone enjoying sundowners! LOL. We got back late morning at about 10h30 after doing two dives every morning and then spent the rest of the day on the beach snorkelling, swimming and playing. The food was amazing! We went fully inclusive so had a choice of wonderful restaurants. We enjoyed delicious cocktails every sunset – and the children were spoilt with cherries! We watched the rays and sharks being fed. We snorkelled with turtles. It truly was magical.
