🙂 Fossil hunting, ponies and excellent food!

🙁 Rain

We had a fabulous long weekend in Dorset exploring beaches and looking for fossils and sailing in Nick’s boat. We stayed at Wareham Forest Touring Park. North Trigon. This large luxury camping site in Dorset is surrounded by acres of Wareham Forest. Camping without electricity offers plenty of options. Camping amongst the trees is permitted in the Glade or the Firs, or open camping in the South and East fields. Site facilities include modern toilet blocks, hot showers and an open air swimming pool with children’s paddling pool in the Summer.  You’ll also find a children’s adventure playground, licensed shop, and access to a pub and restaurant less than a mile away. It is a little bit bigger than what we usually prefer but we were tucked away under the trees and lots of privacy.

We returned again in 2010 for a rerun!
