UK: PETS!

Pets ...Furry Family ..They Will Not Go Quietly They will not go quietly, the pets who’ve shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still can make us think we hear them at the door Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish used to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them… and always will.... To all our furry family - our hearts are forever yours. RIP across the Rainbow Bridge - until we meet again: SIMBA, RUSTY, SASCHA, ZEUS, BRANDY, AMBER, SIMBA, TAFIA, MUFASA, RAFIKI, ZAZU, PUMBA, TIMONE, KITTEN(s), SHAKA, ZULU, MILLIE, SHUMBA

🙂 Unconditional love.

2023:

This was very tough. Our beloved Shumba was diagnosed with cancerous tumours – lymphoma on 11 Dec 23 and crossed the rainbow bridge on 9 Jan 24. Our hearts are broken. He leaves such a huge void as his presence was just so enormous and loving. RIP our beautiful boy. We got Djuma on 26 Dec but Shumba was not interested (other than his toys while he still had the energy!). Djuma means roar of the lion and Shumba means lion – so we thought it a fitting tribute to his legacy.

RIP SHUMBA: 22 Feb 16 – 09 Jan 24

Always eating apples!

Djuma – born 7 Nov 23.
