For the last 200 years, Brown's has been a hub of literary history with guests like Mark Twain, J. R. R. Tolkien, William Faulkner, Somerset Maugham, Agatha Christie, George Orwell and A. A. Milne. Yet the most influential literary guest has to be Rudyard Kipling.
